RETRIEVING CLASS

A highly rewarding class for those dogs who have been bred to retrieve, and open to all. Using retrieving ‘dummies’, handler and dog work together to find dummies from increasing distances and in difficult terrain. Its great fun and an excellent ‘bonding’ exercise, as well as improving the dog’s steadiness and willingness to listen!! Beginner and improver classes throughout the year.(We also offer more focussed training if you want to do field trials or working tests).

The beginner course is designed to lay the essential foundations of obedience and steadiness as well as teaching your dog to retrieve and deliver a dummy to hand and levels progress from there.
