RAFFERTY 2 years, 7 months
(soft tissue sarcomas)
The long saga of Rafferty-Nine-Lives has kept me in stories for this page over the last two years.
We didn't lose him before his first birthday as the specialists expected and, although the tumours are still there (except on the amputated toe!!), any spread seems slow and sedate. He has recovered from his snowy adventures, and is being exceptionally angelic at the moment having thoroughly enjoyed the extra training I have put in (and which he badly needed!).
I'm going to take a break from updating this page while things are on such an even keel (it feels like I'm tempting fate every time I write something positive; not that I am at all superstitious!).
If there is any bad news, I'll include in a mail out, so if you don't hear, that's good!
As always, thanks for taking such an interest in him and giving us such support.
