In brief, what we are about can be summed up as: 

• dogs learn through intelligent training  Our trainers are experienced in both the science of dog behaviour, communication and learning, and in its practical application.

• Intelligent training does NOT rely on punishment, fear, harsh physical or mental treatment or equipment. We will never use such methods nor allow them to be used in any training session.

• dogs, humans and their relationships are individual and cannot be shoe horned into a 'one size fits all' approach; our wide experience allows us to work with the individual in mind at all times.

• We place as high a value on our trainers having good communication skills with humans as they have with dogs! 

• Hamble Hounds is run by Annette Bowcott, who is a fully accredited member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (number 00840), which advocates kind, motivational training methods. www.apdt.co.uk
